Then we meet Black who further messes everything up by staying out in the rain all night and taking the box, causing a fight, and basically ruining two of the pokedexes before the other trainers even get them.

They are so stinking cute and you know their tumultuous rivalry is going to cause some trouble as the story progresses. I think it's really interesting that we start this series out by meeting Oshawott, Snivy, and Tepig instead of the trainers.
